Nexus is responsible for the collapse on 2085. Making use of The New Paradigm and The Collectives, Nexus acquired many pre-collapse technology. Nexus controls the pre-collapse NASDA control centers which allow him to get the Laser Satellites back online. Nexus also controls the NASDA ground missile silo base which had helped him destroy the western and eastern  sector with the nuclear missiles.

After The Project defeated the New Paradigm and The Collectives, NEXUS saw the Projects' intelligent and invited Project to be his ally. However, The Project turn him down. Having to Struggle through the massive attack and even the intrusion of the Nexus Intruder Program, the Project eventually defeated the Nexus by Late 2100.
 

Their Aim:  Control the world after the collapse.
Headquarters:  Rocky Mountains (believed to be)
Identity:  Black (Black Concrete Wall)
Main Activity:  Bringing NASDA satellites and Nexus Intruder Program back online.
Technology:  Level 3 (Lasers and Nexus-link) and Laser satellites
Strategy:  Auto Repair
Units:  Amphibious Laser Tanks, Laser Cyborgs and Laser VTOLs (Nexus-link vehicles at later stage)
Allies:  All other Opposition forces.
