Synaptic Link Technology The Synaptic Link was developed by the Reed Cooperation in conjunction with the United States Military. The Synaptic Link allow for almost instantaneous transfer of thought from human operators to vehicle control and guidance system. The Synaptic Link was fitted into the base of the skull circling the spinal cord. The link has a high speed data transfer port that plucks into any computer system. More Importantly, the development of the Synaptic Link made the creation of cyborgs possible. Early attempts of power suit for individual soldier failed as they prove to be slow and unresponsive. The synaptic link allow soldiers to be place in power suit that they control as easily as their own bodies. Power suit allow infantry to function effectively on the battlefields of the 21st century. |
