As you see after
Edios closed Pumpkin Studios down, there no more support for the still
popular Warzone 2100. Official site for Warzone 2100 is
warzone2100.com. When time goes by Warzone2100.com being the only
English site then lack updates. A group of ambitious people started
the NEWST.org which continue the development for Pumpkin Studios, the
1.11 patch. Soon NEWST.org become Pumpkin-2.co.uk. The greatest work
they did was to write a petition for the release of Warzone 2100
source code. Now the team is developing a new project called Total
Warzone (TWZ).
They seems to be creating a new Real time Strategy game based on
warzone 2100 gameplay. Currently they are developing editors and tools
for downloads. They have also released their Total Warzone (TWZ)
source code which are now all available in
their forum.
I really have
no idea whats going on.
